Day 4

To the man falling asleep at the table today:

You must have had a long night.

I did too.

I always have a long night.

In fact, I've stopped being able to tell the difference between night and day.

Since I don't actually sleep.

Thank you to the two nuns who came to visit us today.

I would have loved to know your thoughts.

Today was a sleepy morning.

But the wind was at its worst today.

She tried to blow all of us away!

But, of course, we prevailed.

We always do. And always will.

Day 3.2

Wow.

Sisyphus stepped up his game today.

I doubted him at first.

But he proved all of us wrong.

Too bad he'll never actually get to stop.

But it's nice to know there's some fight left in him.

It was windy today.

Something must be brewing in the air.

We'll have to wait and see what tomorrow holds.

Day 3

A haiku for the lady in purple:

Your purple outfit

Warms my heart -- almost as much

As your little dog.

Day 2.2

Sphere is being such a little diva today.

She always has to be the center of attention.

But she doesn't do anything!

All she does is sit there and be pushed around.

And make noises once in a while.

Come on, Sphere.

Get it together.

There was this guy watching us.

And he turned to his friend and said:

"Oh, that's it?"

Good sir: Yes. This is it.

This is all there will ever be.

You'd better get used to it.

And to the little girls wearing matching pink outfits running around having fun:

This is no laughing matter.

This is the end of the line.

Day 2

There were a lot of people sipping things from straws today.

What an interesting concept.

There was a couple who seemed eternally joined at the hip.

Good for them.

Sisyphus gave me a bit of attitude with his eyes.

He'd better watch himself, or something might just happen.

Maybe one day he'll find that his microphone won't be on.

Who knows.

There was a man who was doing some sort of note-taking under his table.

Perhaps it was a crossword.

It may not seem that I have eyes in the traditional sense.

But trust me: I see everything.

Day 1

Today a bird decided to travel down our road.

I'd watch out if I were him.

He's lucky nothing happened.

It's amazing how many people want to take pictures of us.

We're not doing anything out of the ordinary.

We've been doing this forever.

There are also just about as many others who prefer to look at their phones.

To each her own, I suppose.

Everybody's meals looked tasty.

It seemed like a soup day.

Day 0

It was cold. Cold and windy.

There were people everywhere taking pictures.

Or maybe they were scanning us--it's hard to be sure.

There were a lot of sirens today.

I hope nothing too terrible happened.

Looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow.

And the next day.

And the next day.
